2014年，當時他才23歲，就以攻守超全面，拿下生涯首座MVP，該年他打擊率2成87，111分打點，36轟，16次盜壘。
Mike Trout與傳奇球星Mickey Mantle、Stan Musial、Jimmie Foxx、Johnny Bench齊名。
